BT and Alcatel-Lucent sign agreement to enhance 21CN bandwidth capacity

Paris and London, May 4, 2010 – Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced it has signed a major five-year agreement with BT for an evolution of its 21st Century Network (21CN), the foundation of BT’s IP transformation to enhance customer experience and accelerate time-to-market for next generation services.

Ericsson may try to sell CDMA in chinese market

In July 2009, Ericsson acquired Nortel's LTE and CDMA services for $1.13 billion, regaining the CDMA production line. Ericsson had focussed on WCDMA market since 2005 and withdrawn from CDMA market based on its assessment earlier. Alibaba.com reports that in a recent CDMA event ericsson hinted that it may return to CDMA market. Link to full story is below:
